We are a group of Tech Trek alumnae in grades 8 through 12+ that are continuing to stay engaged in STEM with other peers under the guidance of volunteer advisors, professionals, and educators. Our goal is to build relationships with fellow Tech Trekkers as well as local community members through social gatherings, educational events, and service opportunities. See TTAG flyer HERE.

We officially launched Chico TTAG on November 30, 2025 and held our first Advisory Board meeting on Jan 9, 2026, with TTAG officers and general members. Social events have included a pizza lunch, holiday cookie decorating, and ice skating.

Future social events:  We hope to visit Chico Community Observatory soon, organize a movie or game night, and have a summer picnic pool party in early August to celebrate our latest Tech Trekkers attending Camp Jemison at UC Davis.

Upcoming educational events for the spring semester include a tentative field trip to CSU, Chico in February so we can learn about STEM majors and clubs in the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Construction Management (ECC). We will visit labs and meet ECC women that can tell us about their educational journey and career options.

Service opportunities in March and April include the AAUW Appraisal Faire fundraiser and Chico Community Food Locker. We also have preliminary plans to host a forum of local women that will discuss their STEM career.
